Just Dance 2014: Time to Plan Some More Dance Parties
If there’s one thing I’ve learned from all the weddings I’ve gone to, it’s that people like to dance. I personally dread that part of wedding receptions; I just want to eat my food and go home. But as much as I express my disdain, it just seems to fuel everyone else’s desire for dancing. If you’re one of those people who get excited about doing the funky chicken for the hundredth time, listen up because a new Just Dance title has arrived.
Dependable as ever, as Hardcore Gamer Magazine describes it, Just Dance 2014 is another solid entry in the hit dance series published by Ubisoft. In a short amount of time, Just Dance has quickly become synonymous with video game dancing in a way that’s only happened with Dance Dance Revolution. It’s the Madden of dancing games.
According to Games Radar, this latest title is the best in the series. Just Dance 2014 may not be the most innovative dance game currently available, but it’s definitely an improvement worth dancing to. The tracklist is varied, offering an eclectic list of songs with something for everyone. Whether you want to dance to the classics like “I Will Survive” or want to dance to current hits from artists like Lady Gaga, Just Dance 2014 has the music to make you move (and potentially make your neighbors move, in a different sense of the word, if you play it too loudly.)
As Digital Spy points out, there seems to be no sign of Dance Central, which means Just Dance 2014 has the dance floor all to itself. Ubisoft aims to take full advantage with new game modes and a mammoth selection of brand new songs, including DLC support to expand the game’s tracklist. So if you’re interested in buying a dance game this holiday season, it looks like Just Dance 2014 is the one to pick-up.
Just Dance isn’t so much a game about accuracy and precision as it is about just getting up and dancing. -GamesRadar
If you’re one of those people who really gets excited about dancing at weddings, consider continuing the party at your house with Just Dance 2014 so party poopers like me can go home. Sounds like you’ll have a lot of fun with it, though you may have to do the funky chicken without the assistance of the game. But check with Ubisoft – maybe they’ll add it via DLC(?) Sounds doable.
Just Dance 2014 is available for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, and Wii U. Learn more on the Just Dance 2014 website.
